Permanent recruitment usually involves percentage commissions that scale up as the salary increases. In addition many agencies demand part payment upfront and/or during assignments.

MLS is different. We charge the one percentage placement fee regardless of salary level. Clients only pay the placement fee once the role is filled. And because our service model is vendor funded, clients enjoy the benefits of a managed solution at no extra cost.

MLS manages the delivery of recruitment services to clients through leading providers. The providers are market leaders in the delivery of personalised, and comprehensive search, outplacement and HR consulting services for temporary and permanent recruitment solutions across virtually all industry sectors.

MLS expedites all roles in progress, receiving weekly updates from agencies and liaising with both client hiring managers and agency consultants to resolve any issues or delays. MLS measure agency performance in terms of candidate quality and time to fill and this drives the agency selection process. Our online solution; MLS Connect enables clients to easily upload role assignments and provides visibility to recruitment activity and spend.

MLS assigns each role to the selected panel provider exclusively. The single agency approach works because MLS places the onus on the agency to provide quality candidates within a reasonable timeframe. Failure to do so sees MLS reassign the role to another agency.

The single agency approach ensures the agency properly dedicates its resources to filling the role with the right candidate. The model enables recruiters to focus on service delivery. MLS partners with clients to understand their business and talent requirements and then works to align the recruiter’s efforts and talent pools to client’s future needs.
